Using the classic 3 point lighting with added specular lights. Spent quite a lot of time using the depth of field on the camera - probably too subtle to even notice. Usually this is something I would add with postwork, so it was good not having to postwork that in, plus its a more accurate depth of field. I rendered this at quite a high resolution to capture the detail of the texturing. Rendered in DAZ Studio with postwork in Photoshop.
I settled on something that would respond to DAZ Studio's default lights as well as something a little more extensive. Here I have used Dreamlight's Light Dome Pro 2, together with some spotlights and point lights of my own. Also used was DAZ Studio's new Uber Volume light attachments to add some ambience.
It's been awhile since I have had the chance of working on something new. Émile is a showcase for the finest 3D content artists out there. Consider it a 3D content fashion shoot if you will. The outfit comprise of many garments that are available at DAZ 3D and Renderosity. My heroes Aery Soul have provided the bulk of it, I love the way they provide 3D content that you can really manipulate to suit your needs. It's a combination of Black Lotus, Masquerade Eve, ElvenStrapped and Classic Fantasy. The rest of the outfit comprises of Angeluz Fantasy Armour by Vampir3Princess and Lesthat, and Lioness by Royloo. The decorative metal ornament is by Karanta. Rendered in DAZ Studio, with lots of postwork in Photoshop. Thanks for looking!

This is what I ended up with after a day exploring many options. Spent quite a lot of time modifying textures and settings in DAZ Studio before taking it into Photoshop for some postwork - well lots of it really! Still trying to refine my colour pallette - I often find I battle between the subdued and the vibrant - and often go for the latter.

I often underexpose my renders in order to be able to grab all that valuable mid-tones for later use in Photoshop. Used 7 lights, 2 of which were used primarily as specular highlighting. The idea was to draw the model out from the darkness, with glints of wonderous beauty. Most of the time was spent animating the snake! Yikes!

This one is based on The Spring, variation of the Venus Anadyomene pose. I tried to emulate the background of the original painting too, but for some reason it detracted too much from the main figure, so stripped it back down to something simple. I love the pose and wanted that to be the focal point. Model used was V4, body was a custom morph derived from V4 Elite, also using V4 Muscles and V4 to Aiko4. The face morph was my own using V4 Morphs ++. Skin texture was Lana, part of the V4 Elite range - damn good texture though I thought it was a little heavy on the Bump. Many thanks for all your previous comments, always good to know others appreciate the work you do. Rendered in DAZ Studio with post work in Photoshop.

Having traipsed through country sides, gorges, castles and cathedrals a couple of weeks ago - I really wanted to produce something with some sort of historical content, and something quite ethereal, dark (and vibrant!) and beautiful. I used Daz's 3Delight for the render, with Aiko as the featured model. Before I started, I was quite clear how I wanted the outfit to be, but couldn't find one that matched my requirements, so ended up stitching about 5 garments together, with some texturing to bring it all together. I intended to use a lot of green, but the earthy tones of the grandfather clock really captures what I was trying to achieve, all of which were added in Photoshop, also painted some 'missing' shadows. Crit on compositing, lighting, texturing and colour work is much appreciated. Many thanks for viewing.
